Unreal3.2.* Strategy

Unreal3.2* will be mostly bugfix only, while still adding some features now and then (but not much).

The focus of Unreal3.2* is on stability for existing users/networks and security, not exciting new features.

How long Unreal3.2* will continue to exist is hard to say exactly. It will heavily depend on the userbase (how many networks/users are still using it) and how stable Unreal4 is. Personally, I (Syzop), intend to support UnrealIRCd 3.2* until somewhere in 2009 in at least some shape or form, so nobody has to be afraid of being forced into Unreal4 in a hurry. That said, assuming Unreal4 will keep up to it's promises, Unreal4 is considered the future ircd and Unreal3 is simply maintained until U4 is up to the job (+some overlap).
