Support Channel Issues

If you have an issue with #Unreal-Support, I would like to hear about it.

Things I would like to hear about:

  • UnrealHelper bugs
  • Great support experiences
  • Extremely bad support experiences
  • Suggestions to make things better

Things to NOT email me about:

  • Being banned from failing the quiz (unless it's definately a bug)
  • Being banned because you were not following the rules
  • Being banned when a supporter/coder/QA had good reason
  • Network issues

If your message fits the above requirements, feel free to email Stealth.

Becoming a Supporter

In order to become a supporter, you need to spend time in #Unreal-Support helping people. This will not only get your nick known among the supporters, but it will also show us how well you are able to support Unreal. When starting out, don't worry if you don't know everything. Use this time to learn more about Unreal. Be sure to also learn more about running Unreal on different OSs, such as Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OSX, and HPUX.

We currently give users who can show their knowledge about running UnrealIRCd in #Unreal-Support the chance to become a supporter over time. When we are in need of a new person on the support staff, you will be asked if you would like to join the team. We never look for supporters so please don't ask about becoming one. It will happen when it happens.
